Terrific Thursday
In Socials, we talked about what we can do now compared to what we could do as a baby/toddler.
In Math, we continued to work on our problem solving skills. Here are the problems if you would like to talk about them with your child.
Gr 1) Annie wore a yellow shirt on the first day of school. On the second day she wore a red shirt. On
the third day she wore a blue shirt. On the fourth day she wore a yellow shirt. She wore her red
shirt again on the fifth day. What will she probably wear on the sixth day?
Gr2) Lola went to the circus and noticed that every fifth clown in the parade of 50 or 100 (child's
choice) clowns was wearing a hat. How many clowns were wearing hats?
We read a great book called Pattern Fish by Truly Harris and are creating an art project with our own patterns.
