Practical Life Skills

Students take a huge part in cleaning
our classroom as part of building responsibility, independence and
Montessori practical life skills.
We are looking at having a vacuum
for our classroom so students
are better able to clean the carpets.
We are asking if you have a small dust buster (ideal)
or vacuum 
you are not using and willing to donate,

Story Writing

Today we finished our first story! We began with brainstorming characters and settings and descriptive words for both. We came up with ideas for either a lost story or a stuck story. We thought of 3 ways our character  could try to solve the problem, finally solving it on the third try! Then we came up with interesting ways to end our story such as the character's feelings, a lesson learned or a reflection. We are very proud of our hard work and look forward to sharing our stories at conferences with you in March!
